Highly recommend edulab! I joined this tuition centre after being recommended by a few friends, and I’m really glad I did. The study environment is very conducive so it’s easy to feel focused and motivated hereI came to edulab for help with calculation-based questions in chem. I had been stuck on some of those for a year and my tutor, Mr Mike, fixed them in just a few lessons. He’s patient, attentive, and really takes the time to understand where you’re struggling. As an IB senior examiner, he also gives extremely useful exam tips and insights that you can’t get from textbooks.

Edulab Tuition Center in Orchard, Scotts, is an outstanding place for academic support. Having tried a variety of different tuition centres (more then 5), I can confidently say that Teacher Stef is, in my opinion, the best English tuition teacher in Singapore.She provides exceptional guidance, delivers lessons with clarity, and tailors her approach to meet each student’s needs. After studying here for less than a year, i managed to get A*s for my IGCSEs. 3 tutors who really left an impact on me are Dawn(literature), Jayden(math) and Ms Shikin(chemistry). Although i don't have much prior knowledge on literature, Dawn is a godsend and always provides notes to help me better understand what I'm learning. Jayden has taught me for more than 2 years and i swear by him. His teaching methods are very effective and he knows how to engage his students. Ms Shikin is a very skilled teacher and really cares for her students. She is kind and understanding, and i know that i can rely on her.

My son has been with Edulab for more than 2 years. He improved his IGCSE math grade from a C to an A in the final exams. He is now taking IB Math (SL) with the same tutor. His tutor, Sean, is excellent, providing feedback and going through past papers and what’s needed to be improved at every lesson. His teaching is clear and effective, and he explains concepts clearly. The communication with both the tutor and the admin staff is prompt and if there are anything to be changed, it’s communicated clearly. My son likes the location as it’s easily accessible and the study room is quiet and conducive to learning.

I started my language literature one on one classes with Teacher Stefanie at the start of Year 6 and I’m so grateful that I did! As someone who has really struggled with English/language literature in secondary school and didn’t have the best guidance in school, enrolling in lang lit tuition here was one of the only reasons I managed to get a six for IB! Plus, I would definitely recommend teacher Stefanie. Her lighthearted humorous personality and yet seemingly boundless knowledge never fails to keep lessons fun and interesting. Although lessons with Edulab are definitely on the pricier side, I would definitely recommend enrolling if you have the means and want quality support to prepare you for your exams!! :))

My experience with EduLab stems from the fact that Stefanie, my son’s langlit tutor has given him so much confidence and great sense of can do ness that this to me is the biggest win and single most important factor and ingredient why he has consistently been doing well and this is only after 1 term with IBDP since February this year.This is despite him coming from O levels background where his last experience with Literature was 3 years ago, in Secondary 2. Needless to say, we came into IB, and doing langlit was first viewed with fear and trepidation.However, Tutor Stefanie deals with her students patiently and her devotion and dedication to her craft and the subject matter was impressive. She doesn’t waste time, is sniper sharp and very strategic in the way she tackles every lesson. She ensures that her students have a deep and astute understanding of the materials in school first and often provides her own insights and interpretation and the students feel psychologically safe to spar with her in their thought processes in a non threatening classroom environment. She is focused and highly effective and every lesson builds on another and according to my son, is extremely enjoyable. She expects high standards from her students but has a way of communicating that motivates her students to do better.Not too long ago, We found out that my son has to do His Extended Essay in English. Despite the reputation of the unpredictability and notorious difficulty involved, we look forward to this EE “‘project” knowing that regardless of the outcome, our son’s critical thinking skills and maturity of thought will be consistently honed and developed in this 15 month journey with Stef. In her own words of encouragement, I will simply “ trust the process”.In short, it is our blessing that Stef is journeying with him on this IBDP expedition. With her input, together with a dedicated school teacher, his future in Langlit is highly promising and heartwarming.
