My son has been with Edulab for more than 2 years. He improved his IGCSE math grade from a C to an A in the final exams. He is now taking IB Math (SL) with the same tutor. His tutor, Sean, is excellent, providing feedback and going through past papers and what’s needed to be improved at every lesson. His teaching is clear and effective, and he explains concepts clearly. The communication with both the tutor and the admin staff is prompt and if there are anything to be changed, it’s communicated clearly. My son likes the location as it’s easily accessible and the study room is quiet and conducive to learning.

I started my language literature one on one classes with Teacher Stefanie at the start of Year 6 and I’m so grateful that I did! As someone who has really struggled with English/language literature in secondary school and didn’t have the best guidance in school, enrolling in lang lit tuition here was one of the only reasons I managed to get a six for IB! Plus, I would definitely recommend teacher Stefanie. Her lighthearted humorous personality and yet seemingly boundless knowledge never fails to keep lessons fun and interesting. Although lessons with Edulab are definitely on the pricier side, I would definitely recommend enrolling if you have the means and want quality support to prepare you for your exams!! :))

My experience with EduLab stems from the fact that Stefanie, my son’s langlit tutor has given him so much confidence and great sense of can do ness that this to me is the biggest win and single most important factor and ingredient why he has consistently been doing well and this is only after 1 term with IBDP since February this year.This is despite him coming from O levels background where his last experience with Literature was 3 years ago, in Secondary 2. Needless to say, we came into IB, and doing langlit was first viewed with fear and trepidation.However, Tutor Stefanie deals with her students patiently and her devotion and dedication to her craft and the subject matter was impressive. She doesn’t waste time, is sniper sharp and very strategic in the way she tackles every lesson. She ensures that her students have a deep and astute understanding of the materials in school first and often provides her own insights and interpretation and the students feel psychologically safe to spar with her in their thought processes in a non threatening classroom environment. She is focused and highly effective and every lesson builds on another and according to my son, is extremely enjoyable. She expects high standards from her students but has a way of communicating that motivates her students to do better.Not too long ago, We found out that my son has to do His Extended Essay in English. Despite the reputation of the unpredictability and notorious difficulty involved, we look forward to this EE “‘project” knowing that regardless of the outcome, our son’s critical thinking skills and maturity of thought will be consistently honed and developed in this 15 month journey with Stef. In her own words of encouragement, I will simply “ trust the process”.In short, it is our blessing that Stef is journeying with him on this IBDP expedition. With her input, together with a dedicated school teacher, his future in Langlit is highly promising and heartwarming.

Engaging and effective lessons with Mrs Tan. Despite a brief month and a half of lessons, I gained substantial knowledge. Wonderful 1-1 tutoring environment. Great team of teachers. Stef is one of the best english tutors, my daughter's grades improved tremendously. I highly recommend her. Nevertheless, all the teachers are very highly skilled in their teachings. I would like to specially commend Bee, the manager, who is very dedicated to her work and kind to the students. I love all the teachers and admins here. (Mr Guo) They really put a herculean effort in to endlessly care and check up on me. This is a place that exceeded my expectations in every way. The environment was extremely conducive for learning, with comfortable seating and ample space to move around. My final IA Maths HL AA was due in 3 weeks time. My school teacher advised me to redo the whole IA if not I might get below 10%. With great amount of stress, a friend recommended me to contact ELA. One of the admin is super friendly and did everything to accomodate my last minute request. They assigned Mr Bai who is a master tutor. Mr. Bai is not only professional but so dedicated and I can truly see his passion for teaching. He went over and beyond just that 1 session to help me, even helping me clear my doubts. I really benefitted from that session and I signed more lessons to complete my IA assignments. And I am planning to continue doing my regular lesson with him after my IA since I left with one more year! Thank you Mr Bai.

Our Results

Edulab has played a monumental role in my IB journey, with tutors who are willing to go the distance - adapting their teaching methods and pacing to suit my learning style. It is the unwavering dedication and patience tutors exemplify in weekly classes that substantially supplemented my progress over the hectic 2-year course, allowing me to excel at my academics and complete IB with a score I am wholly satisfied with. I recommend students to take a chance on Edulab and its excellent tutoring faculty, as they act as a wonderful complement to achieving academic excellence.

I have no qualms in recommending Edulab and its tutors when it comes to A levels tutoring. Mr Tan was very patient and concise in his explanations. I was also kept abreast of my development through the progress reports. Definitely one of the best choices in driving up grades!

Thank you Mr Chan for helping me with my Physics. I managed to get a 7 for Physics in my final IB exam.
